Bridge over the Agogna stream
Client: Municipality of Novara
Years: 2023-2025 – Completed
Project level: Executive project, Construction Management
Dimensions: 534.75 m
Economic framework amount: € 630.000

The structural restoration intervention of the bridge over the Agogna stream, along the SP11, aims to restore full efficiency and safety to an existing infrastructure, a strategic element for the continuity of mobility and the connection of the territory. The project does not introduce a new mark but works to strengthen and regenerate what already exists, addressing the critical issues that have emerged over time.
The operation is based on a rigorous technical approach, attentive to durability and safety, accompanied by a design sensitivity that takes into account the environmental context and the perception of the work. The bridge is thus interpreted as a collective asset to be preserved and enhanced, intervening with measure and awareness.
The central element of the project is the reinforcement of the side curbs through the construction of new concrete elements, precisely anchored to the existing structure, capable of improving structural performance without altering the overall reading of the artifact. At the same time, the replacement of the road barriers allows for compliance with current safety standards, integrating effective but visually discreet protective devices.
