Client: Municipality of Gattinara (VC)
Years: 2021-2023
Project level: Technical and economic feasibility project, Final project
Dimensions: 3.000 m²
Total economic amount: € 3.300.000

The new School Complex in Gattinara is designed as an innovative structure capable of urban regeneration of what was once a public parking area. The project aims to be a pioneer of a new construction methodology that is still little used in Italy, allowing for short installation times without compromising quality in material selection. The area of 3,000 square meters includes the new building and an outdoor area dedicated to children aged 0-6 years, as well as a characteristic non-walkable green roof that provides thermal and ecological benefits. The developed proposal seeks to reflect on environmental issues and energy efficiency, working on materials, construction methodologies, and details, always ensuring a view towards green areas and prioritizing the user-garden relationship through a linear path that circumnavigates the entire building, making the outdoor areas always accessible.
