In a very evocative context of balcony houses in the typical old Milan style, in the legendary “via Gluck,” a completely abandoned top floor has been brought back to life in response to the client's need to create two distinct wings. The project has thus generated two opposing souls that are capable of communicating and strengthening each other. One is more vibrant and the other minimal.
The result is a bright and dynamic corner of poetry with a sophisticated and contemporary character.
Everything is strictly custom-designed to generate volumes and energy in the interiors, starting with the creation of two lofts that, making the most of the significant heights, become majestic protagonists of the living scene with the geometric elegance of beams dressed in white. The addition of three further skylights perfectly amplifies the inside\outside relationship, filling the spaces with light.
The duality of the apartment is certainly the key to understanding the place where souls meet, clash, but remain independent while attracting each other. A pleasant result of meticulous and careful study in the selection of distinct colors and materials that are perfectly in harmony. This poetic asymmetry of contrasts is clearly seen in the two bathrooms, where through an interesting interpretation of the gray spectrum, one creates warm vintage atmospheres with the use of cement tiles and grand furnishings, while the other leans towards radical minimalism.
